About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage all Order-to-Cash processes for import, export, and domestic orders, including sample requests
- Manage supply and demand processes for off-line locations and perform shipping transactions
- Prepare and manage paperwork and disposition for aged or damaged goods
- Monitor import, export, and domestic shipment dates for customer and inventory replenishment orders
- Support Europe customer service and supply chain and logistics teams with import order processing
- Manage the customer order chain from initial order through billing and/or collections
- Work with customers, carriers, warehouses, SAP, surveyors, and Customs Brokers
- Manage product inventory, customer deliveries, logistics partners, pricing accuracy, and customer/supplier relationship indicators
- Ensure customer needs and service levels are met, including deliveries and SAP product/customer setups
- Resolve supply/demand and delivery issues and provide documentation solutions
- Communicate with customers and chemical vendors
- Coordinate daily with logistics groups and carriers, including emergency response documentation for leakages or accidents
- Monitor inventory levels with the Sales team to ensure product availability
- Manage regulatory documentation, including certificates of analysis, labels, and SDS, ensuring compliance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- 5+ years’ experience in Customer Service/Sales related function
- Strong computer proficiency in SAP or related systems
- Experience and comfort working with Office package, MS Dynamics, MS Teams, CRM and other IT tools
- Experience in plant/warehouse systems and procedures for shipping, accounting, Logistics/Operations, and domestic, export, inter-company and 3rd party orders
- Clear understanding of supply chain, logistics, sourcing, and regulatory functions
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently under limited supervision and manage time in a high-volume workload
- Ability to make decisions and recommend actions within authorized parameters
- Travel may be necessary domestically and internationally
- Required to be on call; some weekend/early morning work may be necessary
