About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Triage and resolve production support tickets effectively, accurately, and efficiently
- Resolve problems and defects
- Configure and support Oracle ERP and provide subject matter expertise
- Work closely with Systems Teams, Business Teams, End Users, and third-party vendors
- Provide hands-on functional and configuration support for implemented ERP modules
- Follow up with product vendors on service requests, patching, bugs, and product updates through issue closure
- Provide functional input and guide development teams in developing custom solutions and data migrations
- Perform requirement mapping and gap analysis
- Prepare project documentation, test cases, test scripts, and perform end-to-end testing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant in Oracle Cloud Financials and Oracle Cloud Supply Chain modules
- Strong experience in core Financials modules: AP, AR, GL, FA, Cash Management, and Lease Accounting
- Experience with requirement mapping and gap analysis
- Strong period-close process knowledge and experience across all modules
- Self-sufficient in writing SQL statements to debug and identify root causes of technical and functional issues
- Excellent documentation skills, including solution designs, functional specifications, setup documents, training materials, knowledge repositories, SOPs, and run books
- Good knowledge of end-to-end integrations with other Oracle modules across Finance
- Experience writing functional specification documents, building test cases and test scripts, and performing end-to-end testing for development and patching
- Thorough knowledge of setups in one or more Financial modules
- Ability to work closely with Systems Teams, Business Teams, End Users, and third-party vendors
