About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Answer high-volume inbound calls from current patients
- Resolve patient questions and concerns about their ExactCare service
- Collect patient balances when amounts are due
- Provide exceptional customer service in a closed-door, phone-based pharmacy environment
- Serve as a liaison between clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals on patients’ behalf
- Partner with technicians, pharmacists, and specialists to ensure excellent patient care
- Maintain patient records with attention to detail and confidentiality
- Provide backup support during periods of high patient call volume
- Assist patients with questions over the phone

- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma/GED
- Current certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA)
- Maintain a pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Prior experience in a pharmacy setting
- Comfortable working in a fully remote and/or phone-based environment
- Ability to utilize computer equipment, technology, and multiple software programs
- Thorough pharmacy and drug knowledge
- Knowledge of prescription-taking, clarifications, and transfers processes
- Ability to comply with state and federal regulations
- Availability to work an average of 40 hours per week, including outside normal business hours as needed
- Applicants must be eligible to work in this country
- Ability to meet the physical demands of hearing, seeing, sitting, standing, talking, and walking
- Ability to commute to multiple site locations within assigned territory if required
