About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop the System Administrators team
  • Set team priorities, provide performance feedback, and manage personnel matters
  • Oversee server and storage projects from inception to completion
  • Create, implement, and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans
  • Design, implement, and maintain server architecture, including servers, storage, and backups
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain server and storage environments
  • Manage upgrades, patching, and implementation of new server and storage hardware
  • Develop security strategies with the Information Security Team to protect company data
  • Develop long-term technology roadmaps and assist with budgets
  • Recommend server and storage upgrades and expansions
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure the server environment is properly documented
  • Embody AnewHealth’s Core Values
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience working with Windows Server 2012 R2 and newer
  • Proficiency in Hyper-V virtual environments
  • Proficiency in Linux administration, including Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, and/or Rocky
  • Experience with cloud server infrastructure including Azure, AWS, and GCP
  • Experience with SAN, NAS, and backup technologies, including Pure Storage, Veeam, Datto, and Dell PowerStore
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell
  • Applicable professional qualification
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate servers, identify issues, and provide solutions
  • Ability to architect, design, develop, and implement solutions
  • Ability to troubleshoot various systems and programs
  • ITIL fundamental knowledge and experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning
  • Must be able to commute to multiple site locations within the assigned territory
  • May be required to work extended hours
  • Must be available outside normal business hours on an ad-hoc basis
  • Travel may be required for organization or department events, meetings, trade shows, conferences, and client engagements
