About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead full-stack development as a technical evangelist, working with functional leads and architects
Work in an agile development environment
Drive the design, development, and delivery of software solutions according to requirements and committed schedules
Produce detailed technical specifications based on requirements and design
Conduct code reviews and provide recommendations
Serve as a technical expert in software design, development, coding, testing, and debugging
Follow engineering best practices and propose innovations
Learn new technologies and resolve integration challenges with cloud and product infrastructure
Mentor junior engineers and grow the team technologically
Advocate for technical standards and improvement across TRHC
Work an average of 40 hours per week and support customer needs outside normal business hours on an ad-hoc basis

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or related practical experience
8+ years of experience including a mix of domain expertise and modern programming languages and concepts
Strong architecture and system design skills
Demonstrated experience delivering customer value rapidly while maintaining high software quality
Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.JS, HTML/CSS, and React
Proficiency with development tools such as Git and Jira
Proficiency with development processes including pair programming, QA, and deployments
Experience with instrumentation, analytics, and performance measurement
Experience with MS SQL Server and MySQL is a plus
Experience with agile methodology is a plus
Experience with AWS or GCP is a plus
Proven ability to work creatively with teams to design workable solutions
Keen attention to detail
Ability to articulate complex issues, plans, and concepts to diverse populations
Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
Must be able to work extended hours as needed and be available outside normal business hours on an ad-hoc basis
