About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and maintain full-stack web applications for high performance, scalability, and security
  • Implement new features and enhancements in a well-tested, maintainable, and efficient way
  • Collaborate with Product managers and UX designers to create intuitive, responsive, and accessible interfaces
  • Review, analyze, and implement technical solutions to meet business requirements
  • Drive resolution of issues and bugs
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, API design, and system integrations
  • Provide technical leadership through design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement
  • Participate in task estimation, prioritization, and planning in alignment with engineering processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Extensive professional expertise in Python/Node.js
  • Proven experience with modern frontend frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, or Next.js)
  • Experience with background job processing: queues, retries, idempotent jobs, and handling a worker that fails mid-task
  • Hands-on knowledge of cloud services, preferably AWS
  • Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL database technologies
  • Experience contributing to architecture and design, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling, of new and existing systems
  • Deep understanding of API development, microservices, and system integration
  • At least one project using LLM APIs with tool calling and streaming; a side project is acceptable, but a simple chat interface on top of an API is insufficient
  • At least one product built from scratch and maintained in production for a year or more
  • Upper-Intermediate English
