About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide leadership and capacity building in the learning outcomes assessment process for colleges and student affairs programs/units
  • Provide expertise and consultation throughout assessment cycles, including learning outcome statements, curriculum alignment, assessment planning, formative and summative assessment techniques, data collection, and reporting
  • Monitor annual program and institutional assessment results and program review
  • Consult and advise academic and student affairs leadership on interpreting results and implementing continuous improvement plans
  • Ensure quality assessment data informs program, course, and intervention development, maintenance, and improvement
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on assessment methodologies, tools, and technologies
  • Conduct analyses and prepare reports, visualizations, and presentations for university-wide initiatives and academic and student affairs assessment processes
  • Review and provide feedback on accreditation-related reporting
  • Collaborate with analytics and decision support teams to establish data-driven decision-making processes and reporting mechanisms
  • Maintain accurate records of accreditation-related documentation and activities
  • Participate in initiatives, task forces, committees, and other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience with institutional, national, and specialized postsecondary accreditation standards, practices, and goals
  • Expertise in assessment, data analysis and educational outcomes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with students, faculty, staff, administrators, and accreditors
  • Effective organizational skills and ability to connect to institutional strategy while displaying attention to detail
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze quantitative and qualitative data and prepare, visualize, and present data and reports effectively
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain knowledge of university data systems, definitions, and procedures
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions
  • Leadership skills and ability to motivate staff in continuous improvement efforts
