About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Make outbound calls to generate interest and schedule qualified meetings for senior sales representatives or clients
- Follow up on positive email responses to secure meetings while prospects are engaged
- Manage client communications during the 9am–5pm EST window and respond quickly to inbound leads
- Maintain accurate CRM and dialer records after every interaction
- Provide daily activity reports highlighting progress, successes, and challenges
- Manage appointment logistics, including rescheduling to optimize client calendars
- Continuously improve processes using AI tools, proven scripts, and Expansion Americas best practices
- Take ownership of sales development projects from day one
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled as a university student (undergraduate or recent graduate open to an internship)
- Able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours/week during the internship term
- English and/or Spanish: near-native fluency (C1 level or higher)
- Self-directed and able to identify next steps without constant guidance
- Goal-oriented and committed to achieving strong results
- Willingness to learn and apply knowledge quickly
- Persistent and comfortable with high activity levels
- Sales, customer service, fundraising, or call center experience is valuable but not required
- Coursework or interest in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Familiarity with CRMs and outreach tools such as email platforms and power dialers
- Experience with productivity tools such as Slack, Airtable, and Notion
- Required short video submission under five minutes as part of the application
