About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and launch strategic partnerships with organizations and associations serving military, law enforcement, fire & rescue, and healthcare sectors
- Build relationships with decision-makers across nonprofits, businesses, unions, associations, military organizations, and veteran service groups
- Prospect creatively through networking, referrals, and events
- Launch partnerships that create measurable value for ExpertVoice and its partners
- Develop programs that grow member acquisition beyond initial partner launches
- Design and execute scalable partnership strategies aligned with business goals and audience engagement metrics
- Use data-driven insights to prioritize and refine outreach
- Own quarterly member acquisition KPIs for the public service professional audience segment
- Focus primarily on military organizations and secondarily on law enforcement, fire & rescue, and healthcare
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and other cross-functional teams
- Travel to prospect for partners, develop relationships, and expand existing-partner success as necessary
- Report to the VP of Growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience within one or more military audiences strongly preferred, including veterans, prior service members, veteran service organizations, military associations, or spouse/family networks
- 5–7+ years of experience in partnerships, development, fundraising, or business development
- Proven ability to drive measurable KPIs
- Demonstrated success cultivating strategic partnerships, negotiating deals, and aligning partner motivations with business objectives
- Analytical and revenue-oriented, with strong business acumen
- Consistent track record of achieving revenue targets
- Natural ability to build rapport with stakeholders ranging from veteran-owned small businesses to national association executives
- Persistence and comfort pursuing additional conversations and introductions
- Creativity under ambiguity and willingness to test and adjust new approaches
- Willingness and availability to travel occasionally for partner meetings and industry events
- Must be able to work from the Continental USA and align with standard work hours of 10:00am–3:00pm MT Monday–Friday unless otherwise communicated
