About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop advanced GUIs
Develop advanced Trigger Scripts
Develop intermediate external REST API scripts
Apply intermediate networking knowledge
Apply intermediate application design knowledge
Understand, develop, and implement cloud network design in AWS, Azure, and GCP
Work with SOC and Incident Response Teams on workflows using network data to decrease Mean-time-to-Respond
Develop custom tools using Python and JavaScript-based APIs to extend ExtraHop platform functionality
Develop customized data analysis to monitor changing technical and business conditions in real time
Create rich data visualizations for tactical investigations and strategic objectives
Create automated tools to streamline repeatable processes and maximize time spent building intelligent solutions
Conduct hands-on learning sessions with key customer personnel

Requirements

What you’ll need

6-8 years of relevant experience
BS degree or equivalent
Experience in customer-facing positions
Excellent interpersonal skills
Understanding of core networking principles (layers 2 through 4 of the OSI model)
Understanding of application protocols (HTTP, SQL, CIFS/NFS, HL7, Memcache, DNS)
Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
Experience with scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript
Excellent written communication skills
Independence, motivation, and desire for practice ownership
