Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, develop, execute, and automate test suites for cloud-based networking applications and services
Perform functional, integration, performance, scale, and load validations
Collaborate with Product Owners, Development, CloudOps, and other teams
Review customer deployments and customer-reported issues
Identify and address gaps in test coverage
Automate features end-to-end across API and GUI layers
Review automation code written by team members and provide feedback

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
3 to 12 years of experience in the Network Management/Orchestration domain
Experience testing cloud-based applications
Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and clustering solutions
Experience creating end-to-end test strategies and test plans
Experience with functional, integration, performance, scale, and load testing
API testing experience, preferably REST
Hands-on programming with Java, Python, Robot, Perl, Go, or TCL/TK
Experience testing wired networking protocols including VLAN, IP, STP, TCP, UDP, VRRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, and SPBM
Experience testing enterprise wireless and wired networks
Knowledge of security concepts and protocols including AAA, 802.1X, captive portal, VPN, firewalls, and SSL
UI test automation experience using Selenium or Playwright
Knowledge of virtualization and hypervisors such as ESX and Hyper-V
Experience with network testing tools such as Wireshark, Ethereal, or JMeter
Proficiency in Linux/Unix OS
Experience or exposure to AI, machine learning, and related tools
Good debugging skills in microservices-oriented products
Understanding of cloud technologies and containerization tools
Performance testing and monitoring experience using JMeter or Locust
Expertise in API contract testing with mocks and API automation
UI automation using Selenium, Robot Framework, and Python
Experience with Git and GitHub
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, Ignite, and other SQL/NoSQL/in-memory databases
Knowledge of Grafana and Prometheus
