About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the sourcing, transformation, ingestion, and analysis of data
- Develop ETL logic using Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC), Control-M, and Snowflake
- Leverage Control-M to develop automated workflows, trigger processes, move files, and ingest data
- Develop robust data products and processes within Snowflake
- Execute data management functions including creating, loading, transforming, cleansing, processing, analyzing, and visualizing data
- Assist teammates and business partners with reusable, scalable, fast, and maintainable technical solutions across large datasets
- Work with SQL and multiple development technologies
- Learn new and existing tools, resources, and processes
- Assist in implementing architecture and solutions
- Develop and deliver code supporting existing and future deployments
- Provide guidance, mentorship, or subject matter expertise to others as needed
- Perform other functions, duties, and projects as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in technology, engineering, or math
- Combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience working with data structures and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Informatica Data Management Cloud)
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and/or Snowflake
- Experience writing SQL queries and interpreting data models
- Experience with database modeling
- Experience in financial services or insurance industry
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal
- Fast, adaptive learner
- Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Flexibility and tolerance for ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment
- Basic understanding of object-oriented analysis and design
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
