About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Align with Sales teams and coordinate distribution-related programs across the Marketing team
  • Manage end-to-end planning of retail and internal events
  • Serve as the main planning contact with oversight of budget, vendors, client relationships, logistics and tax reporting
  • Coordinate with SVP-level and above stakeholders to deliver the F&G experience to advisors through thoughtful planning, relevant content and high customer service
  • Represent F&G to strategic partners and leverage thought leadership and advisor education opportunities
  • Manage event registration systems to provide an advisor-friendly process
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the advisor experience
  • Provide guidance, mentorship or subject matter expertise to others as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related degree
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • 3+ years of experience in insurance or financial marketing corporate events
  • Knowledge of annuity products
  • Experience supporting or being part of a financial services sales team
  • Aptitude for marketing
  • Strong writing and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to prioritize and spearhead sales team marketing priorities in a multifunctional financial services environment
  • Aptitude to learn key product capabilities and incorporate them into effective marketing approaches
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Detail-oriented with proficient organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from multiple individuals
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; resourceful and action-oriented
  • Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced organization
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple stakeholders across locations
  • Exposure to marketing to independent marketing organizations highly desirable
