About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage client relationships and ensure superior service
  • Receive phone calls from clients and carriers and comply with requests
  • Resolve client issues and discrepancies independently, with assistance from the sales executive when needed
  • Coordinate with the sales executive on renewal strategy
  • Prepare insurance summaries, carrier submissions, and client proposals
  • Review and analyze carrier quotations
  • Maintain fluency in company interfacing and product guidelines for rating and changes
  • Maintain data integrity in the agency management system
  • Maintain and prioritize workload, including work assigned to the Account Technician
  • Follow agency workflows and procedures
  • Perform contract reviews regarding insurance requirements
  • Issue non-standard certificates
  • Maintain the suspense system for outstanding items
  • Collaborate professionally with clients, carriers, and teammates
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
  • Serve as a risk manager by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring daily business risks
  • Comply with regulatory laws and company procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School or GED
  • Minimum 5 years of job-related experience
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software
  • MS Word - Basic Level
  • MS Excel - Intermediate Level
  • MS PowerPoint - Basic Level
  • Experience in commercial lines coverage and underwriting
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of all forms of coverage and risk alternatives
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License in state of PA required
  • Only candidates legally authorized to work in the U.S. will be considered; FNB will not provide sponsorship for employment-based visas
