About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a designated Commercial Investment Real Estate loan portfolio
  • Perform portfolio management, credit underwriting, and construction monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with bank and regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain underwriting quality and portfolio management metrics
  • Assist Commercial Relationship Managers with client relationship management
  • Underwrite, monitor, and analyze the assigned Investment Real Estate portfolio
  • Identify risks timely and align portfolio practices with the bank's risk appetite and regulatory standards
  • Lead complex transactions, including construction loans, multi-level capital structures, and large developments
  • Monitor portfolio tolerances and published KPIs/KRIs
  • Work directly with Relationship Managers to optimize customer relationships
  • Support satisfactory regulator, auditor, and loan review outcomes
  • Work on group-wide process, role, responsibility, and output improvements
  • Mentor junior Underwriting Portfolio Managers
  • Present proposed credit actions in written analyses and verbally in committees and meetings
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
  • Serve as a risk manager in accordance with F.N.B. Corporation's risk management program
  • Adhere to regulatory laws and company procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA or BS
  • 3 years of job-related experience
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software
  • MS Word - Basic Level
  • MS Excel - Intermediate Level
  • MS PowerPoint - Basic Level
  • Knowledge of a wide range of Investment Real Estate lending, underwriting practices, and banking practices
  • Knowledge of commercial banking policies, procedures and government regulations
  • Travel may be required on occasion
