About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead application development, production support, platform maintenance, vulnerability remediation, and strategic initiatives for the NICE Actimize platform
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert and technical lead for Actimize architecture, configuration, integrations, data flows, APIs, microservices, reporting, and lifecycle management
- Provide technical leadership for complex projects and support and troubleshoot enterprise Actimize environments
- Guide vendor and contractor resources and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders
- Develop and review work plans, manage workflows, and meet project timeframes
- Participate in project estimation, service-demand forecasting, and business-case development
- Monitor system health, review logs and reports, escalate issues to vendors, and perform proactive and preventative maintenance
- Improve application performance, identify root causes, and design server applications and performance metrics
- Define system requirements and objectives based on business needs and performance goals
- Resolve and prevent application performance and reliability issues; recommend improvements for installations and upgrades
- Lead strategic planning for the application platform and provide technical consulting on application performance
- Analyze and revise system hardware and software; design and implement performance-tracking processes
- Review, discuss, design, and implement application changes with Technology, the Project Management Office, and lines of business
- Collaborate with senior management, vendors, consultants, and business stakeholders
- Conduct first reviews of contracts and statements of work and serve as vendor liaison
- Lead the team, coordinate work and processes, assign work, and provide input for performance management
- Serve as a risk manager and comply with regulatory laws and company procedures
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of six (6) years of experience in application development, implementation, administration, or support of enterprise software solutions
- BA or BS required
- Minimum of 7 years of job-related experience; 7 years of technology-related experience supporting a variety of applications
- Experience with NICE Actimize application and solutions required
- Advanced experience with SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Server, SSIS, data analysis, and troubleshooting
- Experience developing and supporting Java-based enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience with NICE Actimize solutions, including implementation, administration, support, customization, or development
- Deep functional and technical expertise in at least one NICE Actimize module (SAM, IFM, CDD-X, WLF, ActOne, or related solutions)
- Experience with Actimize integrations, APIs, microservices, and enterprise application architecture
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting Actimize production environments, including performance, configuration, deployment, and operational support
- Experience leading technical efforts and guiding project teams, contractors, and business stakeholders
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid software development methodologies
- Comprehensive understanding of AML, fraud prevention, compliance, risk management, and financial crime concepts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and multitasking skills
- Advanced knowledge of administration, processes and operations, and root-cause analysis for hardware, software, and databases
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; employment-based visa sponsorship is not provided
