About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Sell new business and renew existing accounts in line with agency and individual goals
  • Conduct and report sales activities to build a prospect pipeline
  • Generate sales prospects from various sources
  • Represent the agency professionally in dealings with clients, agency personnel, and represented companies
  • Collaborate with Bank partners to build relationships and identify financial service solutions for customers
  • Meet or exceed annual sales production goals through new accounts and cross-selling
  • Partner with Customer Service Representatives to renew existing business and meet retention goals
  • Participate in seminars and classes for skill and knowledge development
  • Maintain current working knowledge of processes and coverage changes
  • Keep abreast of selling trends and techniques and use agency selling aids
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
  • Serve as a risk manager by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring daily business risks
  • Comply with regulatory laws and company procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA or BS
  • 3 years of experience
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software
  • MS Word — Basic Level
  • MS Excel — Intermediate Level
  • MS PowerPoint — Basic Level
  • Experience with ITI, TAM, and office systems preferred
  • Applicable industry insurance licenses
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; employment-based visa sponsorship is not provided
