About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and stand up the enterprise AI program’s operating model, governance, and decision rights across interlocking workstreams
- Author workstream charters and RACI models, define escalation paths, and formalize role boundaries across programs and executive offices
- Establish mission-alignment forums, recurring cadences, shared metrics, and cross-program governance practices
- Design and execute phased global AI capability adoption rollouts, including geographic and functional wave planning
- Identify and unblock adoption gaps, adjust rollout plans based on learnings, and drive change management through resistance
- Design sprint operating models and lead technical delivery teams through waterfall-to-agile transitions
- Run sprint cycles, facilitate retrospectives, and tune delivery models using team feedback and velocity data
- Build work breakdown structures and maintain dependency-aware program plans across concurrent workstreams
- Establish communication infrastructure and mission site hubs containing program documentation
- Operate bi-weekly executive reporting rhythms and maintain shared workboards for dependencies, owners, and dates
- Evaluate AI opportunities, translate business pain points into technical use cases, and own use-case lifecycles from discovery through deployment
- Develop business cases, facilitate investment discussions, and publish quarterly readouts on adoption, velocity, and rollout status
- Deliver roadmaps and resourcing proposals for future investment
- Resolve data quality and hygiene issues affecting AI use cases
- Coordinate custom-built or lightly engineered internal tools and applications and integrate them into program workflows
- Ensure safe and responsible AI deployment guardrails are defined, met, and auditable
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of project/program management experience
- 3+ years in technical program management or program orchestration roles spanning multiple concurrent workstreams
- Experience standing up governance, operating models, and reporting infrastructure from scratch with minimal oversight
- Experience authoring charters and RACI models, defining decision rights and escalation paths, and managing dotted-line relationships across programs and executive stakeholders
- Experience designing and executing phased, multi-geography or multi-function technology adoption programs, including wave planning, success criteria definition, and adoption-gap remediation
- Hands-on experience designing sprint operating models and leading teams through waterfall-to-agile transitions
- Practical, hands-on understanding of core AI concepts, including building autonomous agents, working with models, and establishing guardrails
- Ability to communicate credibly with engineers and executives
- Proven ability to design and run executive-level reporting rhythms, publish program readouts, and facilitate investment and resourcing conversations with senior leadership
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Success navigating change resistance, resolving ownership ambiguity between senior stakeholders, and sustaining high-trust relationships across teams
- Experience evaluating financial outcomes, proving ROI with quantified metrics, and shaping quarterly roadmaps and resourcing asks
- Comfort managing rapidly prototyped, custom, or lightly engineered internal applications and integrating them into program operations
- Sharp eye for data quality and hygiene issues related to deploying successful AI business solutions
