About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support field sellers in pitching, positioning, sizing, and offering the Flex Consumption Program from inception through execution
  • Drive program and offer needs supporting the quote-to-cash process
  • Make key decisions and provide analytics-based recommendations on complex situations to sales leaders
  • Support sales teams across geographic regions with deal structuring, pricing, and contract reviews
  • Manage operational and contractual elements enabling quote-to-cash for licensing offerings
  • Serve as the primary operations point of contact during Flex Consumption Program addendum reviews
  • Communicate with HQ and Theatre Sales teams
  • Attend field and customer calls to educate them on licensing program components
  • Represent field and customer feedback to operations teams to drive program improvements
  • Support the sales process, improve deal velocity, and remove closing roadblocks
  • Manage regional Flex Consumption Program coverage as subject matter expert, including quotes and operational elements
  • Manage the operational pipeline and provide updates to Sales Leadership
  • Manage contract management operations and track customer addendum exceptions
  • Uphold F5’s Business Code of Ethics and report policy violations
  • Develop program materials and presentations and perform other related duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BA in Business related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2–4 years working in Sales, Sales/Business Operations, Program Management or Business Insights capacity
  • Working knowledge of software licensing and sales cycles
  • Analytical skills and ability to translate and understand customer needs
  • Knowledge of sales operations activities/technology
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication, planning, organization, leadership, analytical, and execution skills
  • Ability to work with a high degree of independence and under tight deadlines
  • High degree of business proficiency, professional maturity, and poise
  • High competence on Microsoft Office suite and SFDC
  • Knowledge of Tableau a plus
  • Knowledge of security and networking marketplace and products is desirable
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
  • Ability to work periodically on call and outside normal working hours
  • Ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material
