About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Field sellers on pitching, positioning, sizing, and offering the Flex Consumption Program from inception through execution
  • Drive program and offer needs supporting the quote-to-cash process
  • Make key decisions and provide analytics-based recommendations and breakdowns of complex situations to sales leaders
  • Support sales teams across geographic regions with deal structuring, pricing, and contract reviews
  • Proactively manage operational and contractual elements enabling quote-to-cash for Licensing offerings
  • Serve as primary operations point of contact during Flex Consumption Program addendum reviews
  • Communicate with HQ and Theatre Sales teams
  • Attend field and customer calls to educate them on licensing program components
  • Represent field and customer feedback to the operations team to drive programmatic improvements
  • Support the sales process, improve deal velocity, and remove roadblocks to closing business
  • Manage regional Flex Consumption Program coverage as subject matter expert
  • Create and manage quotes and operational elements and assist the field in closing deals
  • Manage the operational pipeline and provide updates to Sales Leadership
  • Manage operational contract processes
  • Manage and track customer addendum exceptions
  • Uphold F5’s Business Code of Ethics and report policy violations
  • Develop materials and presentations to support programs
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BA in Business related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2–4 years working in Sales, Sales/Business Operations, Program Management or Business Insights capacity
  • Working knowledge of software licensing
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to translate and understand customer needs
  • Ability to drive complex, high business impact sales/operational components to timely completion
  • Ability to interact with all organizational levels, including senior executives
  • Proven ability to work effectively with executive management
  • Knowledge of sales operations activities/technology
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication, planning, organization, leadership, analytical, and execution skills
  • Ability to work with a high degree of independence
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
  • High degree of business proficiency, professional maturity, and poise
  • High competence in Microsoft Office suite and SFDC
  • Knowledge of security and networking marketplace and products is desirable
  • Ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
  • Ability to be on call periodically and work outside normal working hours, including evenings and weekends
