About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications powering AI Security solutions
  • Build backend applications, SDKs, and tools at scale
  • Collaborate with product, QA, frontend, and data science teams
  • Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and secure code
  • Test, troubleshoot, and optimize backend services for scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Architect backend features using modern software design best practices and scalable architecture patterns
  • Proactively suggest and implement solutions during development cycles
  • Work cross-functionally to align business and technical goals
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and improve backend systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues while minimizing downtime and ensuring reliability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 5 years’ experience developing server-side applications using Python, FastAPI, or equivalent frameworks
  • Strong understanding of database technology, including PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Expertise in building, debugging, and maintaining RESTful APIs and multi-service backend systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex software systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger engineering team
  • Ability to communicate ideas, features, and risks to technical and non-technical collaborators
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Familiarity with Dockerized applications, Kubernetes, and AWS
  • Hands-on experience with testing and delivery pipelines, including automated CI/CD workflows such as ArgoCD
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and deploying applications in mission-critical production environments
