About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and maintain project plans including scope, schedule, resources, dependencies, and budget
  • Lead gathering of product requirements and project scope across multiple teams or business functions
  • Negotiate priorities and establish delivery plans and schedules aligned with organizational objectives
  • Identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair delivery schedules
  • Monitor progress and design recovery strategies when projects deviate from plan
  • Provide data analytics for operational, process improvement, and cost reporting
  • Design and deliver executive-level presentations supporting Product Lifecycle Management governance
  • Design and run program-level meetings to communicate status and coordinate efforts
  • Conduct retrospectives to support process, policy, and tool-set improvements
  • Collaborate across the organization to solve problems, develop continuous improvement plans, and coordinate work
  • Support Engineering/Operations project teams as part of the Project Management Organization
  • Work with Product Management, developers, architects, and operations to prioritize features and stories and align with customer and program needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Exclusively intended for candidates who successfully completed the F5 Summer 2026 Internship Program and received an invitation to apply for a return role
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Graduating between December 2026 and September 2027
  • Must be able to start no later than September 30th, 2027
  • Must be able to work onsite in accordance with F5's policies; fully remote work options are not available
  • Completed a Data Structures course in a modern, object-oriented programming language or possess equivalent knowledge
  • Ability to communicate effectively across written, verbal and presentation formats
  • Ability to apply critical thinking techniques to analyze problems and develop solutions
  • Willingness to learn how to build resource forecasts or manage risk
  • Willingness to learn Waterfall or Agile methods
  • Basic knowledge of project and portfolio management tools such as MS Project/MS Project Server
  • Desired experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)
  • Experience with at least one programming language: Python, Java, C++, or C
  • Technology product development experience is a plus
  • Excellent skill using MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
