About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and maintain project plans covering scope, schedule, resources, dependencies, and budget
- Lead product requirements and project scope gathering across multiple teams and business functions
- Negotiate priorities and establish delivery plans and schedules aligned with organizational objectives
- Identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair delivery schedules
- Monitor progress against plans and develop recovery strategies for deviations
- Provide data analytics for operational, process improvement, and cost reporting
- Design and deliver executive-level presentations for Product Lifecycle Management governance
- Design and run program-level meetings to communicate status and coordinate efforts
- Conduct project retrospectives to improve processes, policies, and toolsets
- Collaborate across the organization to solve problems, develop continuous improvement plans, and coordinate work
- Support Engineering/Operations project teams within the PMO
- Collaborate with Product Management, developers, architects, and operations to prioritize features and stories
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed a Summer 2026 internship with F5
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, graduating between December 2026 and September 2027
- Must be able to start no later than September 30th, 2027
- Must be able to work onsite in accordance with F5 policies; fully remote work options are not available
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
- Experience managing a geo-dispersed project team
- Experience working in a concurrent software development environment as part of a complex build and merge management process
- Ability to communicate effectively across written, verbal and presentation formats
- Ability to develop project schedules using work-breakdown techniques and define critical paths
- Ability to design and document project charters including scope, schedule, budget and risk management plans
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, resource forecasting and risk management skills
- Experience with Waterfall or Agile methodologies for software and hardware projects
- Ability to lead product requirements and project scope gathering across multifunctional teams
- Ability to lead through influence
- Ability to manage and facilitate team meetings and initiatives
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong working knowledge of technology companies or domains and cross-functional business interplay
- Expertise with MS Project/MS Project Server
- Desired experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
- Expert skills with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
