About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Gather client requirements
  • Prepare proof-of-concept files
  • Perform data transformation and filtering
  • Design processes and conduct implementation, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Communicate with clients during pre-sales activities
  • Liaise with the pre-sales coverage check team to facilitate initial sample-file delivery
  • Collaborate with sales, product, engineering, consulting, and other internal teams throughout implementations
  • Develop and share knowledge of pricing and reference data content, including instrument identifiers, symbol cross-reference, entity reference, prices, terms and conditions, corporate actions, and derived analytics
  • Participate in product development with agile teams to improve existing and new products
  • Manage client relationships and engage with clients day to day
  • Standardize client-specific tasks
  • Streamline data workflows and pipes
  • Provide external and internal training and education
  • Debrief complex situations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in Data, Business, Technology or another related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of pricing and reference data experience
  • Knowledge of financial products and instruments
  • Data management and Query Language experience
  • Good understanding of Excel functions and code arguments
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and identify economies of scale
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
  • Ability to cultivate collaborative and productive relationships
  • Adaptability and capability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to analyze, validate, and interpret large and complex datasets
  • Ability to troubleshoot data issues, reconcile mismatches, or resolve feed integration issues
  • Good understanding of financial data and security types including stocks, fixed-income securities, derivatives, FX, and commodities
  • Data modelling experience, such as SQL or Python
  • Experience with FQL and Screening syntax
  • Participation in the CFA Program or technology-focused certification programs is desired
