About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy
  • Operate and maintain containerized applications based on Docker
  • Administer, operate, and support internal Linux servers and systems
  • Support the standardization and automation of recurring IT and operational processes
  • Monitor and optimize the system landscape using monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana and Checkmk
  • Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and develop sustainable solutions to improve system stability
  • Support incident and downtime situations, ensuring the rapid restoration of critical systems and services
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Support knowledge transfer within the team
  • Participate in on-call duty to ensure the operation of critical systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for Systems Integration), a degree in Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
  • Practical experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines and/or Octopus Deploy
  • Knowledge of Linux system administration, particularly Ubuntu or Debian
  • Experience automating tasks with PowerShell and, ideally, Bash as well
  • Practical experience with container technologies such as Docker
  • Experience with Kubernetes is a plus
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
  • Ability to maintain an overview in challenging situations and approach problems analytically
  • Participation in on-call duty after successful onboarding
