About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive the development, testing, documentation, and deployment of high-quality, scalable software into production
  • Develop understanding of the industry, product, and roadmap to shape team strategy and organizational direction
  • Lead end-to-end technical execution of complex features and systems from ideation and architecture through deployment and refinement
  • Define and enforce engineering principles, guidelines, and best practices
  • Partner with product, design, and stakeholders on technical decisions aligned with business goals and scalability
  • Lead incident resolution as part of the on-call rotation
  • Identify and remove roadblocks across complex projects
  • Conduct and elevate code reviews
  • Steer team planning and design discussions
  • Improve software quality, testability, operational metrics, and team documentation
  • Mentor and coach engineers at all levels

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience building highly scalable Android applications with MVI Architecture
  • Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin
  • Android domain expertise, including platform best practices, trends, and end user considerations
  • Experience using Jetpack Compose and Direct Injection or ServiceLocator patterns
  • Expertise in Agile software delivery and SCRUM methodology
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally across diverse teams within large enterprise environments
  • Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform
  • Experience with Material Design, ideally Material 3
  • Client API Design and Client Backend experience
  • Experience with GoLang, Swift, and Java
