About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Improve, expand, and maintain the Salesforce Org
- Design, build, and maintain scalable applications using Apex and Lightning Web Components
- Translate business requirements into efficient, maintainable technical designs
- Partner with functional teams, business analysts, and senior developers across agile sprints
- Build and manage enterprise integrations connecting Salesforce with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools
- Perform peer code reviews and enforce coding standards
- Write comprehensive Apex and LWC unit tests to maintain strong code coverage and platform health
- Investigate, debug, and resolve technical issues across custom applications and core Salesforce configurations
- Create technical design documentation
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline deployments using Git and Salesforce DX
- Keep up-to-date with seasonal Salesforce releases
- Participate in team-wide technical sharing sessions
- Collaborate with stakeholders and issue reporters to understand business pain points and communicate technical solutions
- Report to the Engineering Lead
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of hands-on software development experience on the Salesforce platform
- Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and SOSL
- Visualforce knowledge is a plus
- Hands-on experience configuring Salesforce Flow, custom objects, validation rules, and security/sharing models
- Practical experience building/consuming REST APIs
- Experience handling bulk data migrations using Data Loader and Salesforce CLI
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub/GitLab, Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset, or Jenkins
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong analytical skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting complex issues
- Salesforce certification is a plus
