Key responsibilities & impact

Translate and localise product information, including materials, fabric compositions, and size & fit elements
Localise and adapt FARFETCH’s product catalogue and associated content for local audiences
Manage translation workflows and deliver projects on time and to high quality standards
Maintain translation memories and terminology databases
Review and update outdated or inaccurate product catalogue copy
Participate in initiatives improving translation processes, content quality, and workflows
Ensure consistent language and tone of voice across websites, product descriptions, marketing campaigns, emails, and social media
Collaborate with the multilingual team on localisation best practices
Use and contribute to localisation tools and technology
Identify opportunities to improve translation quality and efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need

Native-level fluency in Swedish, with exceptional written and verbal skills
Proven experience in writing, translating, and localising content for luxury or high-end e-commerce brands
Experience translating technical product details such as fabric compositions, material properties, and size & fit elements is highly desired
Ability to craft compelling, customer-centric content that engages and appeals to local audiences
Experience managing translation workflows, using translation memories, and maintaining terminology databases
Proactive approach to improving translation processes and identifying outdated or inconsistent content
Familiarity with localisation and translation tools such as TMS and Machine Translation is required
Experience with SEO optimisation and e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, or similar is a plus
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
High level of accuracy and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
