About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the process of collecting customer inventory information, ensuring receipt within established deadlines.
- Process, standardize, and consolidate customer inventory information into a single database, ensuring consistency across products, codes, and units of measure.
- Calculate and monitor customer inventory metrics, such as days of inventory, inventory coverage, and average daily sales, highlighting risks of stockouts or excess inventory.
- Generate insights by cross-referencing sell-in, sell-out, and customer inventory information, identifying business risks and opportunities.
- Support the sales forecasting process by updating databases, historical data, and assumptions in collaboration with the Commercial Intelligence team.
- Support the S&OP process by consolidating and analyzing sell-in, sell-out, and customer inventory information.
- Prepare and update recurring commercial performance reports, including sales versus target, forecast, and inventory levels.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of published information by validating and reconciling data from different sources.
- Liaise with customers and the Sales team to obtain, validate, and clarify inventory and sales information.
- Support administrative routines and ad hoc requests for the Commercial Intelligence department.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Marketing, or related fields.
- Intermediate or advanced Excel skills.
- Experience handling, consolidating, and analyzing databases.
- Strong numerical aptitude and analytical reasoning.
- Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
- Strong organizational and operational discipline.
- Good communication skills for interacting with internal teams and customers.
- Attention to detail and data quality.
- Analytical ability to interpret data and generate business insights.
- Proactive identification of risks, variances, and opportunities.
- Ability to transform data into clear, objective, and actionable analyses.
