About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and execute Variable Compensation calculation processes.
- Administer the Variable Compensation Policy, including controls, updates, and validations.
- Prepare, distribute, and monitor commercial targets.
- Manage the distribution and control of commercial quotas.
- Analyze performance against targets and Variable Compensation indicators.
- Lead the closing, validation, and reconciliation of Variable Compensation.
- Serve as the focal point for the Commercial, Human Resources, Finance, and other involved departments.
- Develop and maintain management controls and reports.
- Support commercial planning through analyses of sales, forecasts, targets, and indicators.
- Analyze sell-in, sell-out, and customer inventory.
- Support the S&OP process through analyses of commercial performance, demand, and inventory.
- Validate, reconcile, and analyze consistency across different data sources.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the department.
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and studies to support leadership decision-making.
- Guide and support less senior analysts.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Advanced Excel skills, preferably with knowledge of Power Query.
- Previous experience in commercial, planning, commercial intelligence, market intelligence, supply chain, or logistics roles.
- Knowledge of Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools.
- Experience analyzing and handling large volumes of data.
- Knowledge of sell-out databases and customer inventory monitoring.
- Knowledge of commercial indicators, targets, quotas, forecasts, and sales performance.
- Basic knowledge of S&OP and demand planning.
