About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, develop, and engage the Systems team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance, results-oriented environment.
  • Set goals and conduct feedback sessions, performance reviews, and technical and behavioral development plans for the team.
  • Manage the department’s project and demand portfolio, ensuring appropriate prioritization, adherence to deadlines, and alignment with business needs.
  • Drive the evolution, support, and integration of SAP solutions and other enterprise applications, supporting technical decisions and guiding the team in strategic initiatives.
  • Structure and improve processes for demand management, change management, releases, testing, documentation, and governance.
  • Monitor and drive metrics such as SLA, NPS, delivery timelines, recurring tickets, and innovation metrics.
  • Prepare, monitor, and control the department’s budget, including licenses, contracts, consulting services, and projects.
  • Identify opportunities to apply Artificial Intelligence and automation to increase productivity, operational efficiency, and value creation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in leadership or coordination roles managing Systems/IT teams.
  • Solid SAP experience, preferably with SAP S/4HANA, across implementation, rollout, upgrade, enhancement, and support projects.
  • Knowledge of key SAP processes and modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, and WM/EWM) and their integration with business processes.
  • Experience managing technology projects and demands simultaneously in highly complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Practical knowledge of business-focused Artificial Intelligence, including generative AI, process automation, and the responsible enterprise use of technology.
  • Knowledge of CRM, preferably Salesforce, and integration architecture (APIs, SAP PI/PO or SAP Integration Suite, EDI).
  • Experience in SAP RISE environments.
  • Experience with Jira or similar demand and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of databases, SQL, ABAP, or other programming languages.
  • Experience in mid-sized or large industrial companies.
  • Knowledge of Brazil’s Tax Reform and its system-related impacts on ERP, electronic tax documents, SPED, and tax solutions.
  • Experience leading remote or geographically distributed teams.
