About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

  • Assemble case materials and organize information for legal documents

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Second or third year law student required
  • Interest in civil litigation, personal injury or insurance defense required
  • Preferred candidate will have some experience drafting motions
  • Available approximately 20 hours/week during the semester
  • Ability to conduct legal research and analyze legal issues
  • Ability to prepare briefs, legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and correspondence
  • Ability to assist with trial, mediation, and arbitration documents and binders
  • Ability to attend court sessions, depositions, mediations, and trials
  • Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods
  • Must be located in California
