About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Acquire, curate, and publish data on premises and in the cloud for analytical and operational uses
Ensure data is ready for use and creates a single version of truth across data consumers
Translate business analytic requests and requirements into design, development, testing, deployment, and production maintenance tasks
Consult on data projects and lead the design, development, and implementation of data products
Practice code management and integration with architectural and data governance guidelines
Produce data building blocks, data models, and data flows for reporting, dashboards, data feeds, and data science research
Create business user access methods for structured and unstructured data
Apply common data models, natural language processing, data transformation, AI, statistical computations, and data validation techniques
Translate business data stories into technical work breakdown structures and estimates for schedules or agile sprints
Develop and maintain scalable streaming and batch data pipelines
Build API integrations to support increased data volume and complexity
Prepare and cleanse data for downstream reporting using visualization or AI/ML tools
Develop data project plans and execute projects independently
Provide coaching to junior associates as needed
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree preferred
5-7 years of related experience required
Valid, local legal authorization to work in the country where the role is based at the time of hire
FBS does not sponsor or obtain work authorization unless explicitly stated
Ability to acquire, curate, and publish data on premises and in the cloud
Experience with SQL and Informatica, as indicated by the job title
Ability to work with big data, relational and non-relational databases, cloud environments, programming languages, and reporting tools
Knowledge of data governance concepts
Ability to develop and maintain scalable streaming and batch data pipelines
Ability to build API integrations
Ability to perform data preparation and cleansing for reporting and AI/ML tools
Ability to operate a computer for extended periods and perform the listed physical activities
