About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical customer service support to FCCI’s Underwriting user community.
  • Troubleshoot common and complex system problems to promptly resolve quoting and policy issuance system Decisions issues.
  • Support Duck Creek for Specialty/E&S lines of business.
  • Provide system training resources to ensure underwriting technology is fully and efficiently utilized.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for underwriting systems.
  • Partner with key stakeholders in developing and prioritizing new functionality.
  • Test system fixes and enhancements to improve user experience and efficiency.
  • Support FCCI’s underwriting systems, workflows, and Policy Decisions processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree; relevant equivalent technology/systems/QA experience may be substituted.
  • Minimum two years relevant experience in P&C and/or E&S industry (including strong underwriting systems & workflow).
  • Solid systems knowledge of FCCI underwriting systems, FCCI workflow and systems, including but not limited to Policy Decisions.
  • Solid working knowledge of insurance underwriting procedures, rules, systems, and regulations.
  • Solid knowledge of basic IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of project delivery and acceptance processes within a fast-paced business environment.
  • Ability to translate needs of various user communities into written business requirements.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze, define and solve problems; the use of good judgment and decision-making.
  • Applicants must complete a pre-employment drug screen.
