About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform on-site preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on sorting systems, equipment and supporting elements
- Maintain sorting systems across the NL stations, including stations distributed throughout the northern and southern parts of the Netherlands
- Coordinate providers and vendors attending site and ensure proper completion of maintenance tasks
- Control spare parts inventory, reorder parts and track deliveries
- Register maintenance activities in the MAXIMO CMMS system
- Ensure safe and effective performance of sorting systems
- Execute maintenance tasks according to MAXIMO planning under supervision of the Maintenance Coordinator
- Identify anomalies and resolve them directly where clear procedures exist
- Consult Maintenance Specialists and Senior Technicians and provide further assessment and advice when required
- Follow an on-call schedule and support outside office hours when requested
- Report preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance activities, parts usage and LOTO procedures
- Participate in toolbox meetings and maintain Excel control sheets and internal communications
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of relevant experience in the technical field (maintenance)
- Technical background and expertise
- Technical studies (MBO) relevant to the job opportunity in electrical, electronical and electromechanical fields
- Skilled in electrical, electronical and electromechanical systems
- Skilled in mechanical parts such as bearings, shafts and rollers
- Service mindset and attitude
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Planning and organizing skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Team-working skills
- Dutch and English required, in writing and speaking
- Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow an on-call schedule and support outside office hours
