About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gather, validate, and document detailed business needs, user stories, and functional specifications
- Evaluate business requests and needs against corporate strategy
- Hand over requirements to development teams
- Support user-acceptance testing and assist with change management
- Recognize and recommend innovation opportunities
- Own initiatives and work independently through successful conclusion
- Maintain close partnerships with IT, Operations, Regulatory, and other collaborating departments
- Engage business stakeholders at all levels to identify business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong analytical thinking capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across functional groups and hierarchical levels
- Strong aptitude for root-cause analysis and strategic prioritization
- Experience designing and documenting business/system requirements
- Affinity with technology and innovative mindset
- Willingness to travel frequently, 25% or more, to various FedEx locations in Europe
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
- Previous exposure to Customs Clearance and Business Analysis is an advantage
- Preferably business school/university-level education in business administration, business engineering, information technology, business analytics, or similar
- Preferably a Business Analyst certificate, or willingness to study to obtain one
