About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary financial manager for the company's live entertainment shows in the USA and/or foreign countries
- Act as the primary liaison between corporate, tour, and venue for assigned engagements
- Communicate with Show Managers, Promoters, Routing & Tours, and venue representatives
- Review engagement contracts and addenda
- Review and validate box office statements documenting ticket sales and distribution
- Administer and track complimentary ticket usage
- Prepare preliminary pre-settlements for engagements
- Conduct final settlements with local promoters or venues
- Manage and account for local show expenses, taxes, and performer fees
- Maintain personnel manifests for foreign tax reporting and withholding
- Facilitate vendor payments
- Monitor actual versus budgeted costs and assist with budget creation
- Compile payroll information and submit it to corporate Payroll
- Prepare daily, weekly, and post-engagement reports
- Manage expense report processing in Concur
- Manage virtual American Express payments for group hotel bookings
- Create and manage purchase orders for tour expenses
- Assist accounting with monthly accruals for tour expenses
- Complete other assigned projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience
- 2-4 years of experience with functional ownership, including responsibility for planning, execution, performance management, and decision-making within a business area
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to work on a broad range of financial/accounting projects simultaneously
- Ability to adapt in an ever-changing, fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong sense of ownership and initiative
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Flexibility and ability to multitask among competing and changing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with people of diverse personalities, backgrounds, and cultures
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally when required, less than 10%
