About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Guide all stock activities, including inventory, organization, control and audits
  • Execute shipping and receiving processes proactively
  • Report issues to the Manager and take necessary steps to resolve them
  • Establish and maintain an organized flow of goods in the stockroom and onto the sales floor
  • Organize and maintain the stockroom to Company standards
  • Ensure accuracy of incoming and outgoing merchandise shipments
  • Prepare merchandise for vendor returns, transfers and customer shipments
  • Coordinate ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing and shipping stockroom materials, supplies, tools, equipment and parts
  • Review records for accuracy, procedural compliance and adequacy of stock levels
  • Support the team in the selling process and ensure a high level of client experience
  • Proactively solve store-inventory problems across weekly, monthly and yearly cycles
  • Prioritize back-of-house responsibilities and ad hoc selling-floor needs
  • Collaborate with store management and the Ferragamo team through regular communication
  • Provide exceptional customer service

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Knowledge of inventory tracking technology preferred
  • Good handling of numbers, back-office skills and inventory/stock management
  • Dedication and resilience to finding solutions and timely movement of merchandise
  • Excellent English language skills; knowledge of a second language preferred
  • Previous retail sales experience preferred; luxury retail experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers and management
  • Ability to communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette
  • Ability to multi-task while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
  • Regular and reliable attendance, normally 5-days a week
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours
  • Required to work mornings, evenings and weekends based on store needs
  • Ability to constantly move, talk, hear, reach, grab, and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to occasionally stoop, sit, kneel, crouch and climb step stools
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
