About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive the development of electronic product sales in a defined geography
  • Provide pre-sales product and application support
  • Provide basic feature-benefit and application sales training to sales engineers and selected customers for electronic products
  • Support motion controllers, electric drives, servo and stepper drives, actuators, and PLCs
  • Drive sales through Festo Sales Engineers, Industry Segment Managers, and selected distribution partners
  • Maintain working knowledge of new products and their applications
  • Collaborate with US Product Management, Industry Segment Managers, District Sales Managers, and E-Drives application engineers
  • Travel for training, customer sites or visits, and company business events as required
  • Work additional hours beyond normal business hours when necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS-EE or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of field experience sizing/selecting and commissioning servo and stepper systems in an industrial environment
  • English language skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge of electronic products, customers, market/industry segments, Festo as a company, and business
  • Knowledge of typical industrial applications
  • Experience in automotive, semiconductor, photovoltaic, food and beverage, or end-line packaging industry segments is relevant
