About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Expand sales within an assigned territory
  • Strengthen existing dealer partnerships
  • Develop new dealer accounts and create demand through direct end-user engagement
  • Prospect, qualify, and open new dealer accounts
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets through new account acquisition and dealer expansion
  • Build and manage a pipeline of dealer opportunities through close
  • Target A, B, and C accounts based on revenue potential, cost to sell/service, and likelihood of success
  • Allocate time and call frequency based on account targeting
  • Drive pull-through demand through product demonstrations, trainings, and ride-alongs
  • Advise dealers on product assortment and stocking levels
  • Expand adoption of core tools, cordless products, accessories, and consumables
  • Conduct in-store trainings and demonstrations
  • Use trade shows, demo days, and local events to generate leads and win business
  • Maintain accurate CRM updates for pipeline, activity, and territory performance
  • Participate in sales meetings, product training events, and required company activities
  • Perform other duties supporting territory growth objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior territory sales experience required; inside sales or other customer-facing experience may be considered
  • Strong desire to build a career in field sales focused on territory growth and new business acquisition
  • Ability and willingness to learn new products, sales techniques, and processes and apply them in the field
  • Self-motivated with a competitive mindset and drive to achieve and exceed goals
  • Comfortable initiating face-to-face conversations with new customers
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and goal-setting skills; able to manage a territory independently
  • Ability to influence and persuade customers through communication, demonstrations, and presentations
  • Comfortable demonstrating power tools safely and effectively
  • Ability to plan and execute customer events, including loading and unloading tools and materials
  • Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and comply with company auto policy
  • Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems, including Salesforce
  • Professional appearance and ability to represent the brand with confidence and credibility
  • Strong active listening skills to identify customer needs and selling opportunities
  • Clear, confident communication and presentation skills
  • Outgoing personality and strong interpersonal relationship-building skills
  • Ability to stay informed on industry trends and apply insights to prospecting and sales conversations
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced field environment
  • Proficiency in English; bilingual capabilities are a plus
  • Ability to travel overnight 20–25% on average
