About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide administrative and project support for STRIDES Quality Assurance activities
  • Collect, compile, analyze, and maintain project information and documentation
  • Coordinate with technical teams and support communication related to project management and execution
  • Support conference room setup, travel requests, sub-task assignments, and project activities
  • Maintain project websites, trackers, templates, SOPs, job aids, reference materials, and SharePoint folders
  • Prepare, review, translate, and compile quarterly, annual, semiannual, and other project reports
  • Assist with budgets, procurement requisitions, commodity requests, procurement tracking, and closeout documentation
  • Maintain subcontractor and consultant files, deliverable schedules, invoices, authorization records, and onboarding/offboarding logistics
  • Maintain FFATA records and compliance documentation; conduct completeness checks and support audits
  • Coordinate assigned country portfolios, action trackers, calendars, deadlines, meeting decisions, and follow-ups
  • Support scheduling, agendas, meeting materials, notes, and action-item tracking for Operations/Quality Assurance meetings
  • Identify administrative and documentation gaps and recommend process improvements
  • Track service requests and turnaround times; perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent in Civil Society, Communication and Social Marketing, Economic Development, Education, the Environment, Gender, Health, Nutrition, Research, Technology and Youth or a Related Field
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience supporting projects and/or a technical practice area
  • Prior work experience in an NGO, government agency, or private organization
  • Basic knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures with project design
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite software
  • Ability to solve problems and recommend corrective action
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Fluent English and, as appropriate, fluent host-country language
  • Spanish and French are a plus
  • Ability to use Microsoft applications including Office 365, SharePoint, Skype/Zoom/Teams
  • Must complete appropriate screening checks, including reference, criminal record, and terrorism finance checks
  • Must sign the FHI 360 code of conduct
  • Ability to travel 10%–25%
