About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive revenue growth across strategic Factory Automation accounts
  • Develop and execute account-level strategies to achieve revenue growth targets
  • Partner with internal sales teams to track forecasting, pipeline activity, and progress against goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers and influencers across engineering, purchasing, and management
  • Provide consultative support throughout customer design and purchasing cycles to drive product adoption
  • Deliver professional product and service presentations to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Identify customer barriers, needs, and opportunities; recommend solutions to improve satisfaction and increase revenue
  • Generate and communicate customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends to sales leadership and product teams
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and leadership on business development initiatives
  • Apply effective sales techniques and refine the approach to maximize account performance
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, opportunity funnel, account activity, and progress reports
  • Report to the Regional Sales Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial sales experience
  • Experience in selling mechanical components in automation/assembly equipment is preferred
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to engage multiple levels of a customer organization
  • High level of business acumen with the ability to translate customer needs into actionable solutions
  • Ability to develop and execute account growth plans
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with confidence presenting to diverse audiences
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict management capabilities
  • Ability to build relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications
  • Industry knowledge in automation, mechanical components, or related manufacturing sectors is preferred
  • Experience engaging automotive, semiconductor, medical, or EV markets is preferred
  • Ability to occasionally transport sample cases weighing up to 10 lbs into customer locations
  • Ability to travel overnight 30%
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related area is preferred
