About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the bank's go-forward strategy through Strategic Planning
- Support compliance of Strategic Planning processes with regulatory requirements
- Work with business leaders to develop, evaluate and align around strategies supporting the bank's strategic objectives
- Design and execute research
- Deliver quantitative analysis and modeling for strategic opportunity analysis
- Track and deliver competitive intelligence to business partners
- Support business case development
- Support development of the bank's Strategic Plan for Executives, the Board and Regulators
- Execute, track and report on regulatory compliance processes
- Work with business partners in Risk, EPMO and FP&A
- Manage risk by adhering to confidentiality standards and following policies and procedures
- Monitor, organize and report research and analysis of industry, company, customer and channel data
- Execute value-added research using internal and external resources
- Employ modeling techniques and perform quantitative analyses, information extraction, fact and data gathering and documentation
- Extract and summarize insights in the context of initiatives
- Suggest solutions for issue diagnosis and brainstorming
- Create executive presentation materials articulating issues, conclusions and implications
- Communicate concisely and participate actively in discussions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in business-related field required
- MBA or Master's degree in related field a plus
- Background in management consulting, banking, or Corporate Strategy with 3+ years of relevant experience preferred
- Ability to be highly effective in a team-oriented environment and build relationships based on added value
- Creative solution development, innovation, integrity, business acumen and sound judgment
- Strong problem resolution and analytical skills
- Comfort working with the unknown
- Experience managing multiple, complex projects, prioritizing work tasks and managing time effectively
- Experience in an environment stressing individual accountability and team-based performance
- Proven track record collaborating with and influencing senior leadership and peers to drive growth and financial results
- Interpersonal, negotiation, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
- Very strong attention to detail in written communication
