About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete the FCMA roadmap and all onboarding activities through program completion
  • Participate in rotations across Operations, Sales & Service, Lending, Small Business, Preferred, and Sales & Operations Management
  • Complete the Consultative Selling Skills Certification
  • Develop Consumer and Small Business customer relationships and provide memorable customer experiences
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of Fifth Third products, services, processes, and internal resources
  • Identify customer financial needs and recommend appropriate solutions through consultative sales
  • Develop an integrated book-of-business strategy using Financial Needs Assessments and banker assignments
  • Source, develop, coach, and lead a team aligned with core values and business strategies
  • Collaborate with business partners to cultivate a One Bank culture
  • Participate in community-benefiting activities
  • Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and related policies
  • Assist with employee feedback, development, challenging opportunities, and recognition

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College degree or two (2) or more years of leadership experience in a sales environment
  • Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in verbal and written communication
  • Capable of analyzing credit and financial information
  • Ability to successfully execute and coach sales activities
  • Business acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions
  • S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
  • Ability to travel periodically within the Bancorp footprint
  • Ability to work in a normal office environment with extended computer-screen viewing
