About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service
  • Use consultative sales and Financial Needs Assessment to identify customer financial needs
  • Recommend Retail consumer and small business products and services
  • Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to contact customers and set financial-review appointments
  • Cross-sell to existing customers and conduct outside sales activities
  • Build relationships with Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, and Investment partners and refer customers
  • Meet customer-experience and production goals and support revenue growth
  • Guide CSRs on sales and referral processes
  • Answer customer questions, resolve customer issues, and maintain confidentiality
  • Open and service Retail products while following policies and ethical standards
  • Participate in consumer loan and bankcard processes from application through closing
  • Participate in Financial Center or Bank Mart opening and closing
  • Follow procedures to mitigate fraud and other risks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or combination of education and experience
  • Experience in the financial industry preferred
  • Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and/or cross-sell to established customers
  • Understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information
  • Professional appearance and verbal/written communication
  • Working knowledge of Retail policies and procedures and sound judgment
  • S.A.F.E. Act registration at employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
  • Ability to travel within the affiliate for training
  • Ability to travel outside the affiliate for classroom training
  • Scheduling flexibility
  • Normal office environment and extended computer-screen viewing
