About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service
  • Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to identify customers’ current and future financial needs
  • Recommend Retail consumer and small business products and services
  • Proactively contact customers using CAMP and approved marketing tools and set appointments for financial reviews
  • Cross-sell to existing customers and participate in outside sales activities and community financial literacy events
  • Build relationships with Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment partners and refer customers when appropriate
  • Meet customer experience and individual/team production goals
  • Provide guidance to CSRs on sales and referral processes
  • Process teller transactions and work as part of the platform staff
  • Participate in consumer loan and bankcard processes from application through closing
  • Participate in Financial Center or Bank Mart opening and closing
  • Maintain confidentiality, follow policies and ethics requirements, and mitigate fraud and risk

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or combination of education and experience
  • Experience in the financial industry preferred
  • Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and/or cross-sell to established customers
  • Understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information
  • Professional appearance and verbal/written communication
  • Ability to develop working knowledge of Retail policies and procedures and exercise sound judgment
  • S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
  • Ability to travel within the affiliate for training
  • Ability to travel outside the affiliate for classroom training
  • Scheduling flexibility
