About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete onboarding and education rotations in operations and Sales & Service
  • Use consultative sales processes and Financial Needs Assessments to identify customer financial needs
  • Maintain knowledge of Retail consumer and small business products and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to contact customers and set financial review appointments
  • Cross-sell to existing customers and conduct outside sales activities
  • Build relationships with Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, and Investment partners and make referrals
  • Meet customer experience and individual/team production goals and contribute to revenue growth
  • Guide CSRs on sales and referral processes
  • Process teller transactions and work as part of platform staff
  • Support consumer loan and bankcard processes from application through closing
  • Participate in Financial Center or Bank Mart opening and closing
  • Follow policies, procedures, risk controls, and confidentiality requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or combination of education and experience
  • Experience in the financial industry preferred
  • Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and/or cross-sell to established customers
  • Understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information
  • Professional appearance and verbal/written communication
  • Ability to develop working knowledge of Retail policies and procedures and use good judgment
  • S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
  • Ability to travel within the affiliate for training
  • Travel outside of the affiliate for classroom training
  • Scheduling flexibility
