  • Cultivate, maintain, and enhance relationships within an assigned book of business through proactive outreach in person, by phone, or through other appropriate channels
  • Use a consultative approach to uncover customer needs and tailor recommendations, solutions, and advice
  • Maintain working knowledge of products, services, and processes offered
  • Collaborate with internal partners to meet customer needs and resolve problems
  • Analyze customer credit data and related financial information to ensure customers receive appropriate solutions
  • Provide customer support and reinforce the value of current and new technology
  • Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and related policies
  • Identify, assess, manage, monitor, and report risks while operating within the Bank's risk appetite
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma/GED and 1 year customer service experience, or college degree or equivalent military experience
  • Experience in a sales environment required
  • Experience in financial industry a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with both new household acquisitions and deepening customer relationships
  • Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in verbal and written communication
  • Capable of analyzing credit and financial information
  • Exhibits business acumen
  • Demonstrated ability in making sound decisions
  • S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
  • Ability to work in a normal office environment
  • Ability to tolerate extended viewing of computer screens
