About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire, grow, and retain bank customers, focusing on Preferred Program customers and mass affluent prospects
  • Proactively contact and service customers through sales and service of bank products
  • Conduct needs-based assessments of prospective and existing clients
  • Engage internal partners to fulfill customer financial needs
  • Use the Retail Consultative Sales process and prescribed tools
  • Build deep customer relationships and serve as a trusted advisor
  • Simplify and communicate complex financial concepts
  • Participate in financial center huddles and meetings
  • Provide guidance to the Financial Center team on referrals and sales, focusing on Preferred customers
  • Maintain current knowledge of the bank's products and services
  • Meet or exceed investment sales and referral goals in partnership with the Investment Executive
  • Contact customers and prospects through financial center interactions, telemarketing, seminars, and community events
  • Monitor business and economic activity to anticipate customer needs and provide proactive financial solutions
  • Identify, assess, manage, monitor, and report risks while operating within the Bank's risk appetite

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Experience in a sales environment
  • Experience in the financial industry
  • Pass consultative selling skills certification and complete ongoing educational requirements
  • Series SIE, 6, 63 and insurance licenses required
  • Series 65 must be obtained within 90 calendar days of hire for external hires, with a maximum of two attempts
  • Ability to build and maintain a revenue-producing book of business in the mass affluent segment
  • Ability to present a professional image when interacting with the public
  • Some local travel may be required when working with one or more Financial Centers
  • SAFE Act registration required at employment through NMLS
