About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire, grow and retain bank customers, focusing on Preferred Program customers and mass affluent prospects
  • Proactively contact and service customers regarding bank products
  • Conduct needs-based assessments of prospective and existing clients
  • Engage internal partners to fulfill clients' financial needs
  • Use the Retail Consultative Sales process and prescribed tools
  • Partner with financial center teams to generate referrals and provide needs-based solutions
  • Build trusted-advisor relationships and retain and grow current and next-generation wealth
  • Execute retail strategies and tactics to increase Preferred Program households
  • Simplify and communicate complex financial concepts
  • Participate in financial center huddles and meetings and support sales and motivational activities
  • Guide Financial Center teams in referral and sales processes, especially for Preferred customers
  • Maintain knowledge of the bank's products and services
  • Meet or exceed investment sales and referral goals in partnership with the Investment Executive
  • Contact customers and prospects through financial center interactions, telemarketing, seminars and community events
  • Monitor business and economic conditions to anticipate customer needs and provide new financial solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Experience in a sales environment
  • Experience in the financial industry
  • Pass consultative selling skills certification and complete ongoing educational requirements
  • Series SIE, 6, 63 and insurance licenses required
  • Series 65 must be obtained within 90 calendar days of hire for external hires, with a maximum of two attempts
  • Ability to build and maintain a revenue-producing book of business in the mass affluent segment
  • Ability to present a professional image when interacting with the public
  • Ability to travel locally between one or more financial centers
  • SAFE Act registration at the time of employment through NMLS
  • Ability to work in a normal office environment and use computer screens extensively
  • Occasional local and overnight travel as required
